Support
Email alert@grabit.ky. For an emergency, call 911; Alert! does not contact emergency services.
Never share your sign-in code
Alert! sends a 6-digit code by text message when you sign in. We will never call, email or text you asking for it. Anyone who asks for your code is trying to take over your account.
The code didn't arrive
- Check your messages' spam or junk folder. Texts from new senders can land there.
- Wait a minute, then tap "Resend".
- Make sure the number includes the right country code (+1 345 for Cayman).
Alerts aren't arriving
- In the app: Settings → "Alerts on this phone" should be on, and the incident type on under Categories.
- Alerts only come for incidents inside your zones. Check Settings → My zones.
- Quiet hours (10 pm to 6 am by default) hold back all but serious alerts.
- Check notifications for Alert! are allowed in your phone's settings.
Delete your account
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This deletes your phone number, zones, settings and notification registration straight away. Reports and comments you posted stay up anonymously and are deleted 7 days after the incident ends.
If you no longer have the app, email alert@grabit.ky with the mobile number you signed up with, and we'll delete the account within [30] days.
Report a problem with a post
Open the incident and tap "Report a problem", or long-press a comment. A moderator will take a look.
